Anesi Product Warranty

Stone Mountain Technologies, Inc. Anesi Limited Warranty July 2025

Stone Mountain Technologies, Inc./SMTI (“Company”) provides this limited warranty to end users (“Purchaser”) of Anesi®-brand products (“Appliances”). Installation, operation, or use of Appliances constitutes acceptance of these terms. The Company offers an online tool (“APP”) for the Purchaser to access warranty registration. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, the Company extends a limited warranty to the original Purchaser that the Appliances will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period defined in the tables below.

About Your Warranty:

The warranty period begins on the date the original installation is completed as documented by the installer’s invoice. This invoice must include the Appliance model and serial numbers. If the installation date is not recorded on the installer’s invoice, the warranty period will begin sixty (60) days after the factory manufacture date, as determined by the Appliance serial numbers. This limited warranty covers Appliance parts for the respective timeframes specified in the tables below for installations in the United States or Canada. Residential and Commercial installations have different warranty terms; refer to the tables below for details. The Purchaser must pay any repair charges not covered by this warranty. The Purchaser is responsible for any premium charged for overtime labor requested by the Purchaser and any service and/or maintenance not directly related to any defect covered under this limited warranty. Improper or incorrect installation or repair may void this warranty. Installing replacement Appliance parts under this limited warranty does not extend the original period. Any repaired or replaced Appliance shall be warranted for the remainder of the original limited warranty term or thirty (30) days after shipment of the replacement part, whichever is longer.

Eligibility Requirements:

The following items are required for the Appliance(s) to be covered under this limited warranty: (i) the Appliance(s) must be installed at (and not have been moved from) the original building location; (ii) the Appliance(s) must be properly installed by an Anesi-trained and licensed HVAC service provider under applicable local and state or provincial regulation and per the Appliance installation instructions provided by Company; (iii) the Appliance(s) installation must conform to applicable building codes with appropriate permits; (iv) the Appliance(s) must be operated by the Purchaser per instructions provided by Company; (v) proper preventative maintenance according to Company installation and operation manual must have been performed and be documented to Company’s satisfaction.

Registration Requirements:

This limited warranty is provided in two forms: an Extended Limited Warranty and a Base Limited Warranty. The Extended Limited Warranty applies to all Appliances fully registered within sixty (60) days of the installation date. The Base Limited Warranty applies to all Appliances fully registered on or after the 61st day beyond the original installation date, or to any unregistered appliances. To properly register Appliances, the purchaser must complete and submit the warranty card included in the documentation, register via the Anesi APP, or visit: Resources, and click on “Product Registration”.

Limited Warranty Exclusions:

This limited warranty, whether under the Extended Limited Warranty or the Base Limited Warranty, only covers defects in parts, materials or workmanship of the Appliance. The following items are not covered: (1) labor costs; (2) shipping and handling charges for supply of replacement parts or return of defective parts; (3) problems from nonconforming or improperly installed Appliances; (4) failures, defects, or damage, including, but not limited to, any loss of data or property caused by (a) connection to any unauthorized third-party product, service, or system in conjunction with the Appliance(s), (b) improper use for which the Appliance is not designed or intended, (c) unauthorized modifications or alterations, abuse, misuse, negligence, or accident, (d) freight carrier or delivery, (e) improper storage, installation, or maintenance, (f) improper operation, including, but not limited to, operation at voltages outside of specified range; operation on fuel source without proper combustion analysis, and operation of improperly commissioned Appliances, (g) any use in violation of the written instructions or specifications provided by Company, (h) acts of nature beyond the Company’s control; as well as energy or raw material shortages, civil unrest, thefts, vandalism, or riots, (i) a corrosive atmosphere or contact with corrosive material, (j) nonconforming hydronic loop glycol type/concentration, inhibitors, and water, (k) nonconforming hydronic loop piping including non-oxygen-barrier PEX, (l) nonconforming refrigerants or refrigerant additives, or (m) failures of external wiring, piping, or other accessory products; (5) Appliances purchased through unofficial distribution channels, (6) aesthetic or non-performance related pieces;  (7) consumable maintenance items such as air filters, refrigerant, belts, wiring, fuses, surge protection devices, and Appliance accessories (for example condensate components); (8) utility/fuel/electricity usage costs; (9) elements of the hydronic line and loop; and (10) reconditioned, used, or demonstration equipment.

This remedy is supplied without charge for the part only to replace any Appliance part or sub-component that fails due to a manufacturing defect under normal use and maintenance. Labor charges are not covered by the Company but are the responsibility of the Purchaser.
